Re-Entries & Whitewater Climbs

Words by Mark

The class introduces creating innovation and flow to your surfing. Aimed at level 3 surfers seek a more vertical maneuver on the wave. A white water climb is when a surfer goes from the bottom of the wave to the top of a wave, bringing the bottom of the surfboard onto a white water section. The maneuver allows the surfer to generate speed past faster peeling sections breaking in front of them. The theory will conclude with knowledge of the maneuver and both water and land drills to help the surfer progress.
