In doing so, Ru mentioned this wave that Will caught a few weeks ago while teaching at Playa Guiones. For equipment, we spoke about GoPro cameras and other action cameras as a starting point. Ru also mentioned the benefits of getting some swim fins and going out to shoot photos.Next step was to get a Camcorder. Harry mentioned these Panasonic V180K Camcorders that we used to use on the beach.The cameras we now use at Surf Simply are Canon SX60 “Bridge” Cameras, which are more expensive but produce much higher quality footage.Lastly, Harry spoke about the SoloShot robot camera.He mentioned the importance of getting a good tripod for your camera and a good waterproof case.INTERVIEW: Matt Warshaw & Mark Augias We spoke to Matt Warshaw and Mark Augias about the updates to the Encylopedia of Surfing.Matt mentioned the Fretboard Journal after Harry heard him on their podcast.WHAT TO WATCH:Jessie chose this video on the Physics of Surfing from Ted-Ed.
