What’s IncludedAll you can expect during your stay at Surf Simply along with a few things you didn't

Surfing guests

As a surfer staying at Surf Simply we take care of everything from the moment you step off the plane so that you can focus on surfing. Below is exactly what’s included in your stay.

Your transfers to and from Nosara

We’ll transfer you to/from either Liberia or San Jose airport, or we can collect you from anywhere in Costa Rica, and bring you to Nosara, on whatever day works for you.

7 nights accommodation

That’s Saturday to Saturday at our resort.

All your surf coaching

15 hours of in-water or video coaching during your week with us, as well as daily surf theory lessons, video feedback and/or pool training. The exact combination depends on what specific skills you are working on with your coach. Read more about the coaching at Surf Simply.

All your meals (except Wednesday lunch & dinner)

Your meals are prepared with fresh, local ingredients at the Surf Simply resort. Our chefs, Jefferson, Mona, Luis, and Jessica, will happily work with your dietary requirements. We also visit 2 local restaurants to enjoy their unique views during the week. Wednesday afternoon is a chance for you to explore and enjoy the town, so that day we leave you to do your own thing for lunch and dinner.

Stretch Classes

Yoga classes sometimes contain health claims unsupported by robust scientific evidence. So at Surf Simply instead we do daily surf-specific stretch classes which aim to prevent injury, teach you a stretch regime to take home, and help you mentally unwind between coaching sessions.

Massage

During your week with us we will arrange for you to have two massage sessions with our massage team, Esther and Jaimee.

“Day Off” Activities

After three days of surfing (Sunday, Monday & Tuesday) you’ll be ready for a day off. So Wednesday is all yours to relax, explore and/or take advantage of one of the complimentary day off activities on offer. There’s the zip lining , stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking and more. Read more here…

Photos Of Your Surfing

Our photographers, Callum and Lu, will be down on the beach, and in the water with you several mornings during your stay to capture your waves. A few weeks after you leave we will give you all the images to keep via Flickr as well as make a movie about your stay with us for posterity. Check recent guests’ movies on our YouTube channel.

All Your Video Footage

Our videographers, Ingrid and Peppe, will capture video throughout your week with us. As well the movie we’ll make for you, we will also upload all the raw footage from your coaching sessions for you to keep.

Bicycles

You’ll also have use of the resorts beach fat tire bikes to explore the jungle and village or just for a sunrise cruise along the sand.

We’ll also make sure that you have everything you need to surf (apart from your boardshorts/bikini). That means: surfboards, leashes, fins, wax, surf hats, sunblock & rashguard.

Non-surfing guests

If you are staying with us as a non-surfing partner, we will take care of your airport transfers and all your food & drinks just as if you were a surfer. You’ll then able to enjoy the beach, resort, jungle and village at your leisure. We’ll also be happy to connect you with our friends near by, so you can set up other tours and activities for yourself if you like. Surf Simply will cover the fee of all activities, classes and treatments. We will also coordinate transfers as needed to and from each activity.

What’s Not Included?

Your flights to Costa Rica are not included but once you touch the ground in Liberia (2.5 hours from us) or San Jose (5.5 hours from us), we’ve got you covered.

Wednesday is the only day on which you will make your own eating arrangements for lunch and dinner. There are several cafes and restaurants which are a short walk from the resort and you’ll enjoy the opportunity to get to know the village on your own terms for a few hours.

You will just need to bring your clothes, a toothbrush and toothpaste.
